GOPC Websites
The Glen Osmond Probus Club (GOPC) utilises five Internet Websites;
- PSPL Website which is open to anyone.
- GOPC Website which is open to anyone.
- Editing GOPC Website (R) which is restricted to the Club Web Master.
- PSPL Administration Website (R) which is restricted to Management Committee Officers and all Club Members.
- GOPC Webmail Account (R) which is restricted to Management Committee Officers.

GOPC Passwords
The Glen Osmond Probus Club (GOPC) utilises two different passwords.
- All Probus Club Members may use their membership number to access the PSPL Administration Website (R).
- GOPC General Members may use a special General Membership Password (four characters) available from the Club’s Secretary to access secure password protected documents such as those stored in the Historical Section of the open GOPC Website.
- GOPC Management Committee Officers may use the Management Committee Password (eight characters) available from the Secretary to access Editing GOPC Website (R), PSPL Administration Website (R), GOPC Webmail Account (R).
PSPL Website
Probus South Pacific Limited (PSPL) provides an open website for anyone and everyone and is especially valuable to Probus Members for anything to do with Probus. Members will find information regarding the PSPL Member Benefits Scheme which offers members exclusive discounts from a variety of participating businesses. Partners offer special member offers for travel insurance, finance, lifestyle and entertainment and health. Electronic versions of the Probus “Active Retirees™ Magazine Australia” and Probus merchandise and regalia are also available.
The Probus South Pacific Limited (PSPL) website is referred to in this document as the PSPL Website.
The PSPL Website is available at www.probussouthpacific.org
PSPL provide a complimentary website to all Probus Clubs. Each Club website is hosted within the Probus South Pacific Limited website and is open to anyone and everyone.
The Club websites are used to showcase a Club’s activities and make available information such as photographs of events, Guest Speaker Lists, Historical Records and Newsletters to existing and potential new members and other Probus Clubs.
The Glen Osmond Probus Club (GOPC) website is referred to in this document as the GOPC Website.

Editing GOPC Website (R)
Maintaining the Club’s open GOPC Website is done via a special website referred to in this document as Editing GOPC Website (R) which is restricted to the Club Web Master. Restricted (R) means that access to the website is password protected.
To assist with editing, a document titled “Editing Your Probus Club Microsite Instruction Sheet” is available from the PSPL or via the ‘help guide’ on the Editing GOPC Website (R).
Files and images (max. 2MB) including word docs, PDFs, Google Maps, PowerPoint, and YouTube video can be uploaded through the editor.
To access the Editing GOPC Website (R) open the secure password protected URL: http://microsite.probussouthpacific.org using the Login email address [email protected] and a password available from the Club’s Secretary
PSPL Administration Website (R)
PSPL provide an administration website restricted to all Probus Club members which is a valuable resource for Management Committee Officers in administering their club.
The PSPL Administration Website is referred to in this document as the PSPL Administration Website (R).
All Probus Club Members have access to the secure password protected PSPL Administration Web Site (R). Any Probus Club member can access this site with their membership number as both the username and the password. GOPC Management Committee Officers may access this site using the Login email address [email protected] and a password available from the Club’s Secretary.
Policy documents, Directory of Probus Clubs, forms, information about club insurances, and the Probus Online Shop are available as well as an electronic downloadable version of the Active Retirees Magazine.

GOPC Webmail Account (R)
PSPL provides each Club with a special Webmail Account which may be used to facilitate communication amongst the Club’s members. This Webmail Account provides a valuable resource for Management Committee Officers in the form of a generic club email address, various contact lists and email groups, all of which are very convenient for emailing Newsletters and Minutes. This means that Management Committee Officers do not have to use their own private email addresses for Probus Club correspondence. Each Club’s generic email address will be readily recognised as the Club’s official email address, similar to a Club’s post office box number.

To use the generic email address authorised Management Committee Officers may access the Club’s secure password protected Webmail Account.
