Our First outing of 2026

On the 16th of January 14 Probus ladies and one guest went to Orange to Dirty Janes. We met at Mc Donalds car park and car pooled to Orange. On arrival at Dirty Janes we had a lovely morning tea in the cafe at the front where we served by lovely friendly staff, a few of us had the scones which were delicious. After we ventured through all the many rooms where there was a variety of stall holders selling various items from antiques to pre loved items to new things. It was so much bigger inside from what it looked like from the outside and I was surprised at the size of it as although I have driven past it many times I have never ventured inside before. My next visit will be with my hubby as he loves looking at antiques and pre loved things. Some of us just looked around and enjoyed looking at the lovely china and so much more. Some of us had some retail therapy and came home with some goodies/treasures. After we went our separate ways and met up again at Larder and Home formerly the Two Fat Ladies in Lucknow and yet more retail therapy in there and in the Boot and Skin shop. We all had a lovely lunch and lots chat as usual We would all like thank you Pauline for organising a lovely day out which was different and very enjoyable. - Margaret
