On Thursday 5 December 2024 60 ladies celebrated a Christmas lunch at Abercrombie House.  On arrival we were treated to a glass of champagne on the veranda overlooking the lush gardens. We then proceeded to the beautiful ballroom decorated for the occasion.

After taking our places we were served a scrumptious 2 course meal. During our meal we were entertained by Brian Beasley, a poet from Oberon, who delivered several bush ballads.  Brain’s poems were very engaging and held everyone’s interest.

To end our very enjoyable time at Abercrombie House we were served coffee, again on the veranda.

The ladies all looked amazing in their finery and Christmas accessories and the lucky door prize was won by Gabby McKee.  Congratulations.

Thank you to Carol and Fay for their hard work and for making the function so very special,  each person receiving Christmas cake, baked by Carol and Fay, and a Christmas wreath, made by our very talented Fay, to take home.
