LATEST CLUB UPDATE - April 2024

 

Our next General Meeting will be held at the Waurn Ponds Hotel on Monday 6th May 2024 at 9.30 a.m. for a 10.00 a.m. start and will be followed by an optional Lunch at the same venue from 12.15 p.m. – 1.15 p.m. for Club Members and Visitors.

 

 

Welcome to our Club's Website! 

• Waurn Ponds is a southern suburb of Geelong in Victoria.

• Our Club draws the majority of its members from the 3216 suburbs of Geelong, which include Belmont, Grovedale, Highton, Marshall, Wandana Heights, Waurn Ponds, and also from Geelong West and Newtown. More recently however, we have seen an increased number of new members coming from the newly created 3217 Geelong suburbs of Armstrong Creek and Mount Duneed.

• This is a combined Probus club, welcoming both male and female members.

• We meet monthly at 10 a.m. on the 1^st Monday of each month (Excl January) at the Waurn Ponds Hotel. Our meeting is followed by an optional lunch at the Hotel from 12:15 p.m. - 1.15 p.m.

• The Hotel is located at 1154 Princes Highway, Waurn Ponds just near Bunnings.

• The club has many Interest Groups and organises a variety of trips and tours. Details of these Groups are contained in the Activity & Interest Group Details page, and the forthcoming schedule of activities is set out in the Activities & Groups page.

• Waurn Ponds Deakin Probus Club is now in its 10^th year and has 112 Members. We currently have eight (8) persons on our Visitors List and our membership limit is 120 members.
