CHANGED VENTURE FOR TEDDY DAYS STARTING FEBRUARY 2019
Teddy Day workshops are held at their new venue of the Toongabbie Sports & Bowling Club at 10.00am every second Thursday.
We have a group of members who meet on the second Thursday each month at 10.00am to finish off the little teddy bears that have been knitted by members. The finished teddies are then donated to the Blacktown Ambulance & Police and Children of Domestic Violence, to give to children who have suffered trauma from accidents or illness. The group have been going for over 21 years and have completed an amazing 21,000 plus bears. Members are welcome to join in this worthwhile activity. For those who can't knit, bears need faces, seams sown up, ears put on & filling. At the moment we need more knitters!
