REMEMBRANCE DAY POPPIES
Mount Druitt Hospital is holding their Remembrance Day Service on Tuesday 13th November at 11am – AND -
Blacktown Hospital is holding their Remembrance service on Wednesday 14th November at 11am
Ken & Marj Freeman would like to give a huge “thank you” to our wonderful ladies (Margaret McConville, Jan Bamford, Jenny Hamersma and Joan Birtles) for their fabulous Remembrance Day Poppies they knitted for Blacktown/Mount Druitt Hospitals. All of their beautifully knitted poppies plus the ones made by our “Simply Voices Choir“ members, amounted to a fabulous 1006 in total. The Hospital staff were so very happy and proud to accept and use the poppies for their “Remembrance Gardens” at both hospitals.
