Prospect has a great history going back to First Settlement, where along with Toongabbie was important for farming & cattle grazing in colonial days. Explorer William Lawson was granted land and built his home here.
Some places of interest in our area are: Prospect Hill, Prospect Reservoir, Prospect Reserve with Lawson’s home, St Bartholomew Church of England (which has Lawson’s tomb), Royal Cricketer’s Arms Hotel (built 1877). More recently we have Eastern Creek Raceway & Wet’n’Wild Water Park. We’re also not far from Featherdale Wildlife Park, Nurragingy Reserve & Blacktown’s Drive-in Theatre, one of the last remaining in Sydney.
Our Club started in 1999, that’s 23 years ago.
