Guest Speaker: Liz Ellis

This Ellis is one of Australia’s most high profile and beloved athletes. She played 122 Tests for Australia and captained the Sydney Swifts and the Australian netball team until her retirement in 2007. Some of her career highlights were winning three World Championships and two Commonwealth Games gold medals. Following her retirement, she moved into a highly successful media career and last year she was made chair of Netball Australia. The Order of Australia honour was for her services to netball and her encouragement of women in sport. She is a qualified lawyer, and mother of 2.
