St Agnes Probus Club Inc

The St Agnes Probus Club is a mixed club wihch has 41 members who meet together for fun, fellowship and friendship.

Every month, on the 3rd Monday of the month, we hold a General Meeting at the fabulous Hope Valley Bowling Club for about 30 minutes to keep members up to date with upcoming club activities, reports on previous months activities, a financial report and some amusing stories.  This meeting is followd by a 30 minute break for morning tea and fellowship.  Finally we have a guest speaker. Speakers can be educational ie learning about arthritis, entertaining ie musicians or informative ie about Angel Flights or the green box.  Following the meeting members are welcome to join together for lunch at a local eating establishment.

Our Monthly magazine is distibuted electronically and provides current information and other activities to members.

Each month Excursions are organised and this year we went to Government House, The Sea Resue Squadron, The Immigration Museum, Lochend House and Roche Museum.

Another event held each month is Coffee Kaos where we visit different coffee houses through out the area for a morning tea/coffee to get together for fellowship and to solve the problems of the world.

The Movie Mania organiser selects a movie and time and date and then advises members who are then welcome to join them if they would like to see the movie.

Our Book Club also meets once a month to discuss the book of the month.

Finally every year we have an amazing Christmas lunch.
