Do you enjoy a good movie?

Once a month Club members join together to go to the movies. The time and date of each movie is dependant on when the movie is availble.

This Month - May:

Seven members attended the Movie "Golda" this month.  Helen Mirren played Golda Mier, the first female Prime Minister of Israel.  We all agreed that the star was the make up artist as Ms Mirren could easily have been Golda such was the skill of the artist.  It featured the time when Israel was at war with the Arab coalition in 1973 which was called the Yom Kippur War.  The interesting treatment of interspersing the semi fictional scenes with actual footage created almost a documentary experience.  We all came away thoughtful and sadly reiterating that very little had change in the world.
