INFORMATION FOR NEW AND PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS

Discover new interests and unlimited possibilities in retirement or semi-retirement.  Probus members are engaged, connected and active.

Come to a meeting as a visitor.  Prospective members can be a visitor for up to three meetings or activities before deciding to join.

When you decide to join, complete a membership form plus a Registration form for Outings, Activities and Tours and give it to the Membership Officer at a meeting.  If we have vacancies, we would be happy to consider your application.  If we have no vacancies, then your name will be placed on the waiting list.  You can download copy of the forms from this website.

   • Once you have been endorsed by the committee and you have paid your joining fee and yearly fees, the club will order a name badge and then you will be inducted into the club by the President.

   • At your induction you will receive a certificate, a name badge and more information about Probus.

   • You will also  receive a membership card with your unique membership number.  The Probus South Pacific website will explain the benefits and services available to you in more detail.

Our Meetings

Our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, except December, at the Springwood Country Club, 84 Hawkesbury Road, Springwood.  Arrive at 10:00 am for the meeting start at 10:15 am and finishes around 12:30 pm.

When you arrive at the meeting

Proceed to the table to sign in, this is important for insurance purposes.

If you plan to leave before the meeting finishes then make sure you sign out on the Leave Early sheet (again, for insurance reasons).

If you would like morning tea, pay the small charge at the table, and receive a ticket which you will give to the person who collects them at the morning tea table when morning tea opens.

If you want to stay for lunch, please let the restaurant know before the meeting.
