ORDER OF AUSTRALIA MEDAL AWARDEE:
You will all be aware of the recent Queen's Birthday Honours' list announced on the 13th June, 2016 but did you know that among us is a recipient of this year's ORDER OF AUSTRALIA MEDAL.
CAROL PORTER, we congratulate you wholeheartedly on a well-deserved award honouring your services to the communities of south east Melbourne.
There are not too many Probus Clubs that can boast of having two OAMs but we can. Carol joins with last year's awardee Joan Vogels. Well done!!
Carol received her medal and certificate from the Governor General of Australia in November, 2016. Displayed for viewing by the members at the November meeting.

Congratulations to our first centenarian, Sybil Hickman who celebrated this mile-stone on 9th September, 2017. Sybil is a much loved member who has actively participated in the club since its beginnings in 2006.
At the annual Christmas luncheon, held in Dec 2017, President Peter Rowlands had pleasure in presenting thirteen members with their ten-year pins.
