Pakenham East Probus Garden Group spent a wonderful morning at Suzanne de Pelensaire’s garden in Kooweerup. There were many unusual flowers and plants to see!

Suzanne had a variety of plants in pot for sale, a lot of these came home with us! The profit from these goes to Lions Care Dogs Charity!

VISIT TO KEITH AND MERYL WATERHOUSE' GARDEN - FRIDAY, 22ND MARCH, 2024 

Pakenham East Probus garden enthusiasts had a delightful visit to the home of Meryl and Keith Water-house.

We were invited to enjoy and explore their one acre of extensive plantings amongst which were beds of massive Protea and Leucadendron and a bank of colourful roses.

The back garden, which is dominated by an ancient gum, consists of fruit trees, natives, succulents, and interesting pieces of garden art.

Meryl is a wealth of knowledge which she loves to share, and you can easily see how this husband-and-wife team live for their garden. We all came home with armfuls of cuttings after enjoying lunch and a delicious afternoon tea together.
