                               VALE JOHN HICKS:

                                       Tuesday, 6th January, 2026

It is with great sadness to record the passing of John Hicks, a long-time member of Pakenham East Probus. Together with his wife Joy, the pair were inducted into the Club in 2008 and were invaluable in its development and success.

During the next ten years, they fully participated in many of the interest groups, activities and outings.  They were a popular pair, known for their friendliness and generosity in welcoming members into their home on various occasions.

After Joy's sudden passing in 2018, John continued his membership but ill health saw this participation decline in the 2020s.

Rest in peace, John you will be forever remembered.
