July 2025

Four of us met on Friday 4th July at my house to share our stories, based on the topic 'Never say Never'.   While there were some serious discussions, prompted by a narrative about control in relationships, there were also lighter conversations after other stories about consumerism and products not being up to standard, particularly those purchased online.  Heather wrote about her involvement, over a considerable amount of time, as an office bearer in spite of her resistance, while I shared my story on another kind of resistance to cakes and all things chocolate.  Our next meeting, at the beginning of August, will be at Heather's home with a prompt entitled 'Your life as a child'.
