November 2024

Seven writers met on Friday 1^st December.  We welcomed Gill as a newcomer to the Group. Stories were shared based on the prompt ‘A Sense of Balance’.   There were a variety of views ranging from personal experiences through to interpretations of the theme.  Members discussed babies learning to balance as well as the agility of performers observed in a recent visit to ‘Cirque De Soleil’.  We talked about ‘balancing time’, ‘balance in nature’, and the ‘balance of probabilities’ from a legal perspective.  Vertigo, as a result of Covid-19, and its impact on balance was also raised as a topic.
