September 2025
Our group meeting on Friday 5th September was small with just four members, but it was, as usual, very productive. Joan hosted the meeting and provided a delicious afternoon tea. The prompt, on this occasion, was 'All in a Day's Work'. Bev wrote a piece reflecting her participation over the years in daily work while I chose to write about my most recent holiday and my observations of what others did as part of a day's work. Heather's poem was about her experience of a flood, despite living in a town with no river. Joan chose a story she had written about 'The Midnight Hour' which prompted a very interesting discussion on a poem entitled 'The Clock of Life'. Our next meeting will be hosted by me on Friday 3rd October.
