At our General monthly meetings we are privileged to have a guest speaker who is happy to come along and give a talk on their particular vocation or special interest. Whether it be travel, environmental issues, charities, political, professions, sports, writers, adventurers etc, we can be sure that whatever their choice of subject is, we will always be treated to a very informative and interesting presentation.

The Guest Speaker was one of our own members, Professor David Hunt, who spoke about his involvement in a study to determine whether King George III, the so-called mad king and subject of the film, “The Madness of King George”, was due to a disorder called porphyria.
