At our General monthly meetings we are privileged to have a guest speaker who is happy to come along and give a talk on their particular vocation or special interest. Whether it be travel, environmental issues, charities, political, professions, sports, writers, adventurers etc, we can be sure that whatever their choice of subject is, we will always be treated to a very informative and interesting presentation.

Six members of the Probus Writers' Group provided their annual entertaining and informative presentation of stories group members had written during 2025. The Club members were informed that one of the writers had used the assistance of AI to compile a narrative. The members were urged to listen carefully in order to identify the AI written piece. The prize was won by President Brian who correctly guessed that the writer was Penny. Other guesses were evenly divided between Joan, David and Tony.
