Forster District Combined Probus Club member wins First Prize in the PROBUS Photography Competition 2014

"Capture the Moment" was the theme for this year's National Probus South Paciific Photographic Competition.  Some of our members, keen photographers, entered photos for consideration.  One member who entered, Keith Pascoe, was astounded to receive an invitation with wife Robyn to attend a dinner in Sydney for the six finalists on February 22nd.

At the dinner, to their absolute astonishment, Keith's photo of three of our members on tubes in the river at a PROBUS camping trip to Knorrit Flat, was declared winner of the competition which had attracted nearly 2000 entries!  The prize is a Mediterranean Cruise for two aboard Aegean Odyssey including airfares and is valued at $18,ooo.  Keith and Robyn are still flying high - without the use of an aircraft!

Keith's winning photo will be published shortly on the Probus South Pacific Area home website - also watch out for it in the April edition of the magazine Active Retirees.

Well done, Keith (and Robyn)!
