Activities Calendar    AS AT NOVEMBER 2024

We offer activities every week and month!

Members -  See Current Bulletin for more information.  Emailed to members who have provided their email address, usually the Sunday before our Thursday meeting date.  Printed copies available at meetings.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ACTIVITIES AND CLUB MEETINGS ARE SUBJECT TO COVID RESTRICTIONS (NSW or applicable State for tours)    

Any necessary cancellations of meetings or activities will be emailed to members as soon as possible.  Please check your In Box (or possibly Junk Mail Box) the day prior to the event, as we regret some cancellations are last minute as situations and regulations change.  (Not our choice!)

Monthly Members' Meeting - The first Thursday of each month (except January), 9.45am.  Arrive AFTER 9.15am showing membership badge (prior to doors opening to general public at 10am) to allow Check In at Club Forster, Strand St, Forster, and to our club meeting.   

Please note there is $5 pp entry charge, to help offset the cost of hiring the auditorium.  Morning tea is provided.

NB  DECEMBER 2024 CLUB MEETING WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY 6th DECEMBER AT THE SPORTIES, TUNCURRY, COMMENCING 10.30am.  Arrive by 10am, perhaps buy a coffee, and mingle.  No morning tea provided. No $5 entry fee.

Planned Activities:

• November 9th : Barrington Air Show at Taree Airport

• November 13th :  Car Trial + Picnic at the Tuncurry Rockpool

• November 22nd : Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks Tribute Show, MEC

• December 6th FRIDAY :  (Date change from Thursday and venue change)  Club Meeting and Silver Christmas - Sporties Tuncurry.  Meeting Starts 10.30am with no break.  Followed by Silver Christmas Lunch and Entertainment.  Bookings for lunch essential.

• JANUARY 15th, 2025 : Brunch/BBQ to celebrate a new year of Probus fellowship.  Elizabeth Reserve, Forster Keys.

• FEBRUARY 28th, 2025 :  "Free Spirit" Cruise along the Wallamba River to Nabiac and return, Incl. Lunch

• MARCH 6th 2025 :  Club Meeting, AGM and ChangeOver Lunch.

• MARCH 15-20 2025 : Touring Group Trip to South West Rocks (2 nights) and Ballina (4 nights)

PROBUS South Pacific also offer various tours - please check their website.  You will need your Membership Number to book directly with them.

Cancellation Policy applies for any activity cancelled by a member - ie they will only be eligible to receive a refund of those monies not expended by the club.

The Following IntraClub Activities may cease during January:

 10-Pin Bowling : 

Forster 10-pin.  Beginners Welcome!   Every Tuesday, 2.15pm for 2.30pm start. 

Fitter for Life Exercise Classes :

Every Monday and Tuesday mornings @ 8.30am in Uniting Church Hall, Forster.

Plus another class at 9.30am on Tuesday for "grandly mature" members.     

BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL due to limited class numbers.

Ladies Morning Tea:  Monday after our Probus Meeting.  10am at Paradise Marina

Genealogy/Family Tree:  Receive help to research your heritage.  2pm FIRST TUESDAY of every month.  Optional Buy your own lunch from 12.30

Computer Help Sessions :  First Wednesday of Every month.   Individual help also available.
