New musical Dream Lover pulls back the curtain to reveal the life of legendary American singer, songwriter and actor Bobby Darin, who penned hits from the 50s and 60s including Mack the Knife, Beyond the Sea, When My Baby Smiles at Me and You’re Nobody ’Til Somebody Loves You.
Starring cabaret star David Campbell and playing at the Sydney Lyric Theatre until 13 November, the show features a cast of more than 40 and an 18-piece big band.
Bobby was also a successful film and television actor and married to actress Sandra Dee, who he met on the set of romantic comedy, Come September and the two made several films together.
