Laugh it up
12 Apr 2013
Featuring Tracy Morgan, star of the multiple award-winning TV comedy 30 Rock and the Emmy award-winning Saturday Night Live, the 2013 Sydney Comedy Festival is set to be a laugh a minute – at least.
This year there are plenty of comedians making their Festival debut including Adrian Edmonson and The Bad Shepherds from the UK, and YouTube comedy sensations Superwog and Mychonny. Arj Barker (pictured left), Danny Bhoy and more perennial Festival favourites are also on the cards.
It kicks off with the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala at the Sydney Opera House on Monday 22 April, followed by Cracker Night on Tuesday 23 April across three Sydney venues, and will see 85,000 people laugh it up.
For a taste of what's to come over the Festival, watch Danny Bhoy relive the wonders of a tour through regional Australia and work on his Australian accent - with apologies to Adelaide.
