Older adults circuit class
If your New Year’s resolution was to exercise more, this circuit class is the activity for you.
Specifically designed for older adults, the class involves light weight and body exercises and is suitable for all exercise levels.
Better still, classes take place at Pyrmont Community Centre, so attendees can reward themselves with coffee at some of Sydney’s most exciting new cafes.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2-3pm, from now until 29 November.

Glass: art, design and architecture
This unique exhibition explores the way in which some of Australia’s most exciting contemporary artists, designers and architects use glass in their work.
The result is 23 outstanding projects which display a range of creative practises, ways of thinking and relationships to glass, which is both functional and aesthetic.

Canned Heat in concert
Canned Heat, famous for their cover of the hit song On the Road Again have reunited and are bringing their unique blend of Country, Blues and Rock to Adelaide. The band have performed around the world, most notably headlining at Woodstock in 1969 alongside Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and The Who.
Their concert includes original songs as well as covers Let’s Work Together and Going Up the Country.

2018 Jetty Dinner Series
The Jetty Dinner series is a one-of-a-kind dining experience, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy food from some of Western Australia’s most exciting chefs in a pop-up venue located 1.8 kilometers out to sea.
The evening includes an enchanting train ride to the Jetty, where attendees can enjoy champagne and canapes. After a delicious meal, featuring live music, guests will be given the unique opportunity to explore the Underwater Observatory before finishing the evening with petit fours and coffee on the train.

The Grigoryan Brothers
Renowned guitar duo, the Grigoryan Brothers are performing works from their latest album, Songs Without Words.
The brothers are known for their diverse skills and their ability to combine their classical training with contemporary traditions, creating a sound that is thoroughly unique.

Loggerhead turtle nesting
The Mon Repos Conservation Park, located in Bargara, is giving visitors and locals the rare opportunity to observe nesting Loggerhead turtles.
Hatchings are expected to take place from January through to March, and visitors can witness turtles venturing up the beach to dig a nest and lay their eggs. Some will even be privy to the baby hatchlings taking their first swim in the ocean.
The park supports the largest conservation of nesting marine turtles on the Eastern Australian mainland and has the most significant Loggerhead turtle nesting population in the South Pacific.
