Noosa plans to celebrate in a big way as the tenth International Food and Wine Festival hits town in May.
Bigger and better than ever, the festival will feature new events and the return of some favourites.
Ten guest chefs from the 2012 San Pellegrino World’s Best Restaurants list will be heading to Queensland as well as some of Australia’s top chefs including Peter Gilmore, Tetsuya Wakuda and Peter Doyle.
In a world first, to open the Festival the Queensland Virtuosi Orchestra will offer a sensory feast of gastronomic and musical delights as the world’s best culinary chefs cook up a storm to the rhythm of orchestral favourites.
Other highlights include a cocktail competition, bush bash, degustation and seafood feast on the beach. The weekend wraps up with a sunset concert in Noosa National Park and Guest Chef Dinners.
