Darwin Festival
Over 40 years since Cyclone Tracy destroyed Darwin, the city celebrates its revival and community. Singer Sarah Blasko opens the festival on 4 August, welcoming 18 days of art, music, dining, Indigenous culture and community events across the city.

Wish me luck: Honouring our WWII veterans
As part of the South Australian Living Artists’ exhibitions, you can honour those who served for Australia in WWII. This exhibition displays photographic portraits of surviving South Australian service men and women.

The Caucasian Chalk Circle
Follow the story of Grusha, the peasant girl and Judge Azdak, the corrupt and comedic judge. Black Swan collaborates with the National Theatre of China to recreate one of Bertolt Brecht’s most famous plays.

A night in the sky
Fancy losing yourself in the stars? Learn all about space and its many wonders at this three-day event. With lectures, telescope workshops and Sci-Fi shows, Ulverstone’s geographical placing offers great views of the night sky.

Views of Landscape
Different artists interpret their subjects in different ways. The Views of Landscape exhibition is a unique display of landscape artworks from a variety of artists including Arthur Streeton, Margaret Olley, Adrian Feint and more. The works draw their inspiration from the land, sea and city.

Laughter is the best medicine
