Now in its 25th year, the annual Parkes Elvis Festival will see more than 20,000 revellers shine in their rhinestone jumpsuits and swivel their hips from 11-15 January in 2017. The theme for this year’s festival is the 1964 Elvis film, Viva Las Vegas and the program is jam-packed with more than 120 events, including the double-header feature concert series, featuring leading Elvis tribute artists, Jake Rowley from the US and the UK’s Pete Storm.
Other popular events include the Elvis gospel service, the Northparkes Mines Street Parade, the renewal of vows ceremony and the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. For more information, visit: parkeselvisfestival.com.au
