Probus is a worldwide organisation, sponsored by Rotary, which provides social and intellectual stimulation for retired and semi-retired members of the community.

The basic purpose of the organisation is to offer regular opportunities for members to keep their minds active, expand their interests and enjoy the fellowship of new friends.

The Ladies Probus Club of Waverley Central was founded in 1991, and meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 10 am-12 noon at the Masonic Centre, 318-322 Stephensons Road, Mt Waverley.  (Melways Reference Map 70, E2)   

We have around 57 members and the cost of annual membership is $45.

The meetings generally comprise 30 minutes of club business, followed by morning tea/coffee and a social break, and finishing with an interesting and topical guest speaker (including an opportunity for questions).   The activities and guest speaker offered by the Club generally have an emphasis on ladies’ interests.
