Friday 11th February 2022 - 100 Years of the Archies (Geelong)
We have reserved 12 tickets for a day trip to Geelong on the Ferry, where we will visit the Art Gallery for "100 years of the Archies." Cost $48 Seniors/Concession. Please contact Lorraine MacDonald for tickets.
Wednesday 16th February - movie
Movie at 10 am at Waverley Cinema - "Queen Bees" starring Ellen Burstyn. Cost is $11. Contact Anne Symonds if you wish to attend. No basket lunch but there is the opportunity to do coffee and cake at a cafe afterwards.
Queen Bees - While her house undergoes repairs, fiercely independent senior citizen Helen moves into a nearby retirement community - just temporarily. Once behind the doors of Pine Grove Senior Community, she encounters lusty widows, cutthroat bridge tournaments and a hotbed of bullying 'mean girls' - the likes of which she hasn't encountered since high school.
