Guest Speakers

At regular monthly meetings held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Masonic Lodge, 318-322 Stephens Road, Mt Waverley.

The Speaker for our recent meeting on 8th July outlined the history of Ikebana, the ancient Japanese art of flower arranging, from the 6th century in Japan. Ikebana has strict principles including minimalism, shape, line and movement.

A demonstration of examples provided the following displays.

Unfortunately, due to Lockdown, we had to postpone our June Speaker, Senior Constable Sara Coe from Oakleigh Crime Prevention presenting on 'Confident Living'.  We will reschedule to a later date.
