  Ryde City Combined Probus Club Inc was founded on 12th March 1998 with 110 prospective members in attendance. The club then went on to provide enjoyment through gathering with fellow members and friends at interesting meetings and outings, in a friendly and informal atmosphere, which continues to this day.
     
   

We celebrate our Birthday anniversary and our membership is currently around 110 members.
     
   

We welcome new members and visitors to our club.
   

 
    We offer a wide variety of activities which are described in What We Love to Do and in our Photo Gallery there are pictures of some of our past activities and trips. 
     

Meetings
     

 
     
   

We meet on the 3rd Monday every month at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club, commencing at 10:30am.
     
   

The club opens at 10:00am, which allows a half hour for members to sign in.
     
    Visitors are welcomed and are asked to fill in a visitor's form. Visitors are then helped to find a seat, introduced to the people (or those) already sitting at the table or assisted in finding their friends.

The President opens the meeting welcoming members and any visitors. 
   

 
   

The Guest Speaker is introduced and after the presentation, members are given the opportunity to ask questions.
   

 
   

Next, we have the Social Activity Organisers (overnight trips, day tours, theatres, day activities) who speak on upcoming events and payments required.
     
   

Then, we have a “Slice of Life” which is a 5 minute talk by one of our members followed by reports given by –

     The Secretary

     The Treasurer

     The Membership Officer (includes birthday announcements)

     The Welfare Officer

     Then Clubs and Activities Co-ordinators
     

 

The meeting concludes around midday with many of our members staying for lunch at the Club & catching up.
