LIFE MEMBERS

The club has five Life Members:-

Gwenda Wells, joined the Club in 1996 (Foundation Member), held numerous Management Committee positions over a period of 15 continuous years from 2001 to 2016, including Presient (2003-2004) and (2009-2010); Membership Officer (2005-2008) and (2013-2016) and Welfare Officer (2011-2012).

Life Membership awarded in September 2016

Marilyn Murphy, joined the Club in July 2001, held various Management Committee positions over a period of 9 years, including President (2017); Treasurer (2008-2010) and Bulletin Editor (2011-2013 & 2016) and Cinema SIG Leader (2018-2019).

Life membership was awarded in August 2019

Peter Blyth, joined the Club in March 2010, held various Management Committee positions over a period of 9 continuous years from 2011-2020, including President (2014 & 2020), Secretary (2014-2016); Treasurer (2011-2015) and Bulletin Editor (2017-2019).

Life Membership was awarded in July 2021

Patsie Bletzer, joined the Club in July 2015, and within a year joined the Committee  as Functions Officer. Patsie has organised a function or day trip every month for the last 10 years.

Life membership was awarded in May 2024

Audrey Higgs, joined the Club in June 1998. For the last 20 years, Audrey has recorded members attendances at General Meetings, joined the Management Committee as Extended Trips Officer (2015-2017) and organised many Day Trips (1999-2018). Audrey was SIG Leader for Sunday Lunch (2017-2020). Audrey was also Club Photographer for many years, creating 6 photo albums.

Graeme Herbert,  joined the Club in October 2002, and despite health issues was Secretary (2005-2008) and also Bulletin Editor (2003-2004)

Gail Herbert, joined the Club in October 2002, was Bulletin Editor (2005-2008) and assisted her husband Graeme in his role as Secretary.
