Art Gallery of WA

Our members had a great time at the Art Gallery of WA on Wednesday 12 June. We were split into two groups with a guide each. The guides gave a detailed overview of the Art Gallery - its triangular architecture and a brief history of its construction, followed by a tour through the rooms in the Gallery, with themes ranging from Aboriginal culture, storm clouds, nuclear tests using melted glass, the work of Anna Park from Korea who currently lives in New York, and the 2024 Year 12 Art winners. We enjoyed lunch at the local Pub in the winter sun.
