Welcome to Frankston Ladies Probus Club Inc, established in August 1984. This makes it one of the oldest ladies club in Victoria.

As the story has been told to me, a few ladies enjoyed getting together regularly; one of those ladies, Jean Wood, answered an ad in the Frankton Standard from the District Rotary Club asking anyone who was interested in starting up a Probus Club in Frankston to get in touch; the rest is history.

Jean became our inaugural President; one of those original 7 ladies is still very active in the Club.  We are a happy lot and because we are a small club everybody knows everybody.

We have three meetings a month - let me give you a brief outline of our monthly Calendar.

We meet in the Community of Christ church hall, 2 Logan Street, Frankston (Melways map 102, H3). Our General Meeting is held on the 2nd Thursday of each month; meeting starts at 10.00am, we stop for a coffee break and we always have a speaker for an hour;  a coffee morning is held on the 3rd Thursday of each month; this usually entails something interesting or fun orientated such as a fashion show, jewellery demonstrations, a pop-up $2 shop which was fun, and then every 4th Thursday we have an outing; we might make a day of it and take a bus trip somewhere, or go out for lunch. It's always fun and interesting.

 We have a free book exchange at the Coffee Mornings. We would really love to have you come and visit us, we don't bite and would make you very welcome.
