Melbourne Athenaeum Library
PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR MOBILE PHONE
BIRTHDAYS: Happy birthday wishes for May are extended to Leonie Parker 17th, Lynette Kruck 20th; Shirley Griffith 22nd.. Hope your birthdays will be fabulous ladies.
SICKIES: Thankfully there have been no members reporting in sick for this month so far.
There have been some suggestions from some members that perhaps the Newsletter could be put together a little more clearly, eg, put everything that’s going to be done on a monthly basis, not by activity. We can try it this way for a few months and see what everyone thinks, and then make a decision.

the RSL is the Seaford Railway Station car park. BOARD OUT
5th Thurs For our new members an explanation is needed here. “Thursday 29th June” is a Fifth
Thursday; usually we don’t do anything on those days, mostly we have a rest and take time
to attend to other things that we’ve been unable to do. You are not required to attend this
outing, it’s only been organized because so many of our ladies have mentioned that they
hate it when there’s a fifth Thursday because they say it’s two weeks before they see their
friends again!
So, here it is:
29 Jun Mr. Frank’s Café, Coffee & Chat - from 10 am onwards. The café’s address is 1st Floor,
101 Wells Street, Frankston, opposite SouthEast Water (beach side of the highway).
There’s an escalator to take you to the first floor. The café has floor to ceiling windows.
which offer a beautiful view of Frankston and the bay. BOARD OUT
