Our constitutional review committee has reported back to a recent the committee meeting. The PSPL recommended content has been found on balance to be suitable and the necessary resolution will be put to all members at an extraordinary general meeting before year end.

The PSPL suggested consequential standing resolutions are still under discussion. They appear on the surface to be consistent with those currently adopted subject to some minor changes.

The results of the survey have been discussed and decided to increase the scope of outings to include Opal card days, theatre and movie outings and additional coffee mornings. Convenors are required and individuals may be approached directly if there are not sufficient volunteers.

The popularity of day trips was still apparent from the survey and as such will continue to be offered.

Just a reminder that the Xmas lunch will be held at the Hills Lodge on Tuesday 2nd December, commencing at 12noon. The cost subject to finalisation will be around $89 per person. The formal notice will be issued shortly.
