The Annual General Meeting and Handover Lunch
Many thanks to the members who attended all three Club events on the 19th March 2025. There was a good attendance for: the General Meeting, the Annual General Meeting which included the Election of Office Bearers, and the Handover Lunch.
Each event ran smoothly thanks to the expertise of Brian McIntyre who was the overall Master of Ceremonies and Linda Footman who was an efficient Returning Officer at the AGM. Special thanks to all those members who nominated for positions to give the Club their time and attention this year, it is greatly appreciated.
At the Handover Lunch outgoing President, Chris Dyson, acknowledged the good work of the outgoing committee, gave a brief overview of his past year as President and thanked members for their support. Chris inducted and welcomed the new President (Ann Kennish) who in turn welcomed the new committee members and presented them with their badges of office and duty statements.
Ann thanked Chris and the previous committee, all members present at the lunch, and the staff of the venue.
The first meeting of the new committee is on 9th April 2025; when they will start planning 2025-26 activities.
