January 15th 2025  - guest speaker Mr Peter Prout: Author/Teacher/Mentor

As a published author, Peter seeks opportunities to teach about his research findings, and to mentor and encourage people in their life journey.                                                                      His published work is focused upon community, mentors and mentoring, and the positive role of elders in communities.                                                                                The book, Swampland of Shame: addresses how mentors and transformative events helped me navigate my way out of the swamp. Recommended by Mr Chris Dyson.

Members Special Christmas Lunch.  There will be a brief Business meeting commencing at 11.00 followed by a special Christmas Lunch.  Fun, Friendship and Fellowship.

Entertainment will be provided by singers Lesley Ferguson and Tom. 

Special Birthday Celebration. The Victoria Park Probus Club will celebrate its 42nd birthday. You are welcome to bring a guest.

The first meeting of the club was at the Belmont Tavern on Monday 22nd November 1982.  It was launched as a men's club and women were invited to lunches.   The change came in 1990 when members voted to become a combined ladies and men's club.
