COMING SPECIAL EVENTS - 2025
The Victoria Park Probus Club (Inc.) presents a few special events each year. Part of the cost of attendance for members is sometimes subsidised by the Club from funds raised by entry fees of General Meetings. Sometimes members cater for their own needs and just enjoy catching up with friends.
Upcoming Events:
JULY 16, 2025 - MARKET DAY (Money raised will subsidise Christmas Lunch)
Members are asked to bring baked goods; pies, sausage rolls, cakes, cupcakes or make jams, pickles, etc. Plants are welcome or other items for sale including clothing– there will be tables set up for $2, $5, and $10 items but if your item does not fit these amounts, you can label how much you think it is worth. Members to place their item/s on the appropriate table. The Bowling Club will be open the day before if anyone wants to bring their item/s in early, please bring after 4.00 pm.
As you pay for your item, please remove it/them from the table; there will be a person on each table to collect the money. Please bring a bag/s for your purchase.

Train trip or car pool to Mandurah to see “Music of the Night;” a tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber, and the West End Musicals. Commences at 2.00pm. Ticket $69.90 concession. (They have now sold out)
Train leaves Perth at 10.00 am approx 1 hour trip – early lunch and bus trip to the Mandurah Arts Centre.
SEPTEMBER 24, 2025 – GUILDFORD
Venue: Judy Hamersley House, 119 Swan Street, Guildford; next door to the Swan Valley Visitors Centre.
Gaye Sweeney is currently doing a "Treasures from the Collection" tour at Guildford, where she shows some items and talk about their significance to Guildford and surrounding areas . It would be on a Monday or a Thursday, starting at 10am for 2 hours. $10 per person including morning tea. Cash or card. There would be a limit of 10 people, but Gaye could repeat at another time/day.
OCTOBER 22, 2025 – Possible train trip to Pinjarra
NOVEMBER – No outing as Probus Birthday Lunch
DECEMBER 17, 2025 - Commencing at 12.00 pm at the Empire Bar Function Room, 220 Great Eastern Highway, Lathlain. 2 Course meal $65. There will also be a Christmas Hamper Raffle
The meal will be subsidized with money raised at the Market Day. Please indicate if you wish to attend as soon as possible, please.
