Whitianga Scallop Festival

Celebrate the weekend savouring scrumptious seafood at the Whitianga Scallop Festival.

Sixty cuisine stalls will offer you mouth-watering seafood dishes and entertainment will be provided by iconic New Zealand performers. Plus there’s also cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs. 

Make sure you’re well attired for the day and enter the dress-up competition. The prizes on offer include two night’s accommodation from Bachcare, a double-pass for a glass-bottom boat tour, a double-pass for Combat Zone plus plenty more. There are also other competitions that you can enter prior to the day and on the day. 

As well as delectable food outlets, there are also plenty of craft stores for you to peruse, including photography, cosmetics, clothes and jewellery.
