Fire up the oven

Love the smell of a wood fired oven but don’t have access to one at home? Albury Council has one for you!

Love the taste of food cooked in a wood fired oven but don’t have access to one at home? The Albury Community Wood Fired Oven gives you access to the oven so all you have to do is bring the ingredients. And your friends of course.

The oven is fired up every Sunday for free community use. Plus, an Oven Coordinator will bring his or her expertise to the site so you can learn some tips and tricks of wood fired cooking.

Discover the joys of baking your own bread from scratch, experience the mouth-watering smell of wood fired cooking and enjoy the shared community feel of the Community Bake Day.

There’s also an undercover area and a playground nearby so the kids can be entertained while you cook up a storm.
