“I was introduced to this excellent group travel organisation some years ago by friends who had enjoyed their own experiences. I’ve since had three adventures with them and have booked for a fourth! They specialise in small group travel with particular emphasis on older travellers. They offer day trips, and multi-day trips both intrastate and interstate. Off-shore islands, such as King and Flinders, are a specialty and they also offer tours to Norfolk Island.

Multi-day tours include a full-time guide who looks after everyone’s comfort. My first adventure was a three-state train journey on the Great Southern Train. There were eight of us in the group with Reebecca, a wonderful guide. Like all their multi-day tours, the trip was door-to-door, with friendly drivers at either end. Since then, I’ve enjoyed a wonderful seven-day, six-night trip to central and western Victoria. With our fantastic guide Kim, we travelled widely around the area, returning to Ballarat each night.

My most recent excursion was a three-night intrastate journey which was curated specially for our Probus Club by the team at LoveTas. From a base in Launceston, we travelled extensively up and down the Tamar, culminating in a delightful lunch cruise on the river. It was a fantastic way for our members to share time in a different environment, and we will certainly do something similar again.”
