Since National Tree Day was founded by Olivia Newton-John and Planet Ark in 1996, more than 17 million trees and shrubs have been planted by more than 2.8 million people. 

Get your hands dirty and get involved! You’ll be contributing to one of the country’s biggest nature care initiatives.

National Tree Day makes a difference to the environment, connects people with nature and beautifies neighbourhoods. Get involved in your own home by planting in your backyard or on your balcony. All you need to do is register your tree. You can also get involved with community initiatives or spearhead your own.
