Remembering The Ceder
01 Mar 2013
The Ceder of Albury hosted over 1000 wedding receptions, balls and social events throughout the 25 years that Jim and Vicki Bacash ran it. An elegant couple, Vicki was always graceful and Jim was known for his bowties.
From January through to March, the Library Museum in Albury invites you to the costume exhibition, rekindling memories of The Ceder. The exhibition pays tribute to the popular venue and the wonderful events that took place within its walls.
“It’s a trip down memory lane,” says Albury Library Museum Collections Officer, Christine Edgar.
The exhibition features pieces of Vicki’s clothing as well as photographs from weddings and other functions held at the iconic hall donated by couples throughout the region.
