Autumn festival
26 Apr 2013
Experience the Albury-Wodonga region in August and celebrate the autumn produce and colours of the valleys. With a jam-packed calendar, every member of your family will be entertained.
Market stalls selling chestnuts, hazelnuts and walnuts entice with their delicious aromas while produce ranging from wine to craftwork is also on offer. Visit the gardens in the area or go for an historical walk around Wandiligong.
There’s a golf tournament, a ball, winery tours and exhibitions plus mountain biking and road riding for the thrill seekers. Learn about Bright’s darker side with the Murders and Mysteries tour, taking you around the town as evening sets in.
On Saturday 4 May, there’s a Gala Day including markets, street entertainment and a grand parade. The Vehicle Spectacular has classic, vintage and veteran vehicles on display for you to admire.
With plenty of markets, tours and exhibitions throughout the week, you won’t want to miss the beautiful colours of autumn in the Alpine region of Victoria.
