Sutherland to surf

Held every year, the Wanda Sutherland to Surf is an 11km fun run from Sutherland to Wanda Surf Club.

The Sutherland to surf is organised and run by the Wanda Surf Club as a fundraising event. For its inaugural year, 50 competitors took part. Just a year later, 1200 people finished the race. This year, more than 7000 people of all shapes and sizes will take part in either the run or walk event.

This year, Probus members will be taking part, embracing the slogan ‘Walking for life in retirement and walking for fun with Probus’. 

At the end of the race at Wanda Surf Club, there will be food stalls and barbecues available, and sponsors will be on hand to give out water.

Along the route, there are also plenty of water stations and first aid stations.
