Shakespeare in the vines

Undoubtedly one of Shakespeare’s most delightful romantic comedies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is this years Shakespeare in the Vines feature.

Presented by Essential Theatre, the performance is staged on the manicured lawns of various wineries throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Featuring possibly Shakespeare’s most loved character, Puck, the mischievous elf, A Midsummer Night’s Dream deals with the universal theme of love and all of its complications. Focussing on three parallel stories, the play is widely performed around the world. 

Essential Theatre will be taking the play to wineries in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, and Matakana in New Zealand.
