Probus Club of Darwin Inc has an active Garden Club as one of its interest groups. Since its inception the group has visited many gardens and had speakers from within the community on a wide range of topics.

Kicking goals

Members of the Probus Club of Darwin recently visited the Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre (MLLLC), which was officially opened on March 13, 2015.

Members of the Probus Clubs of Darwin, Charles Darwin and Palmerston entered the 2018 Seniors’ Beautiful Garden Competition organised and hosted by Keep Australia Beautiful NT and Cota NT for Top End Seniors.

While the rest of Australia woke to another cold and miserable day in August, the combined Probus Clubs of Darwin (Darwin, Palmerston, Charles Darwin and Marrara) met under the usual Darwin Dry season’s sunny blue sky for their annual battle at the Tracey Village Sports Club.

Recently, the combined Probus Club of Stuart Alice Springs won first place in an event called Seniors Have Talent.

Ferry good day out

Members of several Darwin Probus clubs went on a ferry trip to Crab Claw Island and enjoyed a seafood banquet for lunch.
