Discovering the Unique History and Charm of Norfolk Island

In December, a happy group of adventurers, comprising members of the Palmerston and Darwin Probus Clubs embarked on an expedition to explore the very picturesque and historically significant Norfolk Island.


Christmas Lunch and Carols

Festive carols and laughter filled Silks Restaurant as members from Probus Club of Darwin traded reports for Christmas cheer.

Dinner Dance with The Andrews Sisters

A night filled with laughter, singing, dancing, competitions and the excellent performance of the “Andrews Sisters”.

Trip down the track

Palmerston Probus members embarked on a trip down the track to visit the Marrakai Military Museum.


Zip it!

Members of the Probus Club of Darwin signed up to go ziplining with Canopy Tours in Rotorua, helicoptered onto the glacier at Mount Cook (fixed wing back!), got stranded briefly by black ice on the South Island, visited the glowworm caves at Te Anau, cruised on Milford Sound and jet boated in Queenstown!


Hear the pins drop

After a very pleasant morning tea, Darwin Probus Club moved to Kingpin Darwin for a great morning of bowling.

Seniors Expo

The four ‘Top End’ Probus Clubs – Darwin, Palmerston, Charles Darwin and Marrara – provided a joint stall at the recent Seniors Expo in Darwin.

Dining out

Members of the Probus Club of Marrara recently enjoyed a fabulous day dining out at Medee Eatery at Fannie Bay.


Culture and cuisine

Palmerston Probus Club travelled into Darwin recently for a day of culture and fine cuisine.  The destination was the Darwin Museum and Art Gallery and the charming Saltwater Café.


Crafty characters

Every Friday, members of the Probus Club of Marrara Inc get together for a craft group at Casuarina Sports Club.
