Croquet
Probus Taringa croquet players competed in the annual Probus Challenge Cup at Graceville croquet Club. Five Probus clubs competed for the cup, the others being Indooroopilly, Indooroopilly West, Chapel Hill and Bellbowrie. The competition was won by Bellbowrie, with Taringa a worthy runner-up. The Probus Challenge Cup was initiated eight years ago; Taringa won it in the first two years and Bellbowrie have won it for the last three. It must be Taringa’s turn again next year! The competition was followed by a splendid lunch provided by the Graceville Croquet Club.
