Planned activities to help achieve the goals of fun, fellowship and friendship are an important part of the Probus Club of Newmarket. An Activities Officer co-ordinates club members’ activities usually held on the fourth Wednesday of the month.  While being flexible, a draft program is prepared for each year.

Activities Planned - October to December 2024

• Wednesday October 9th- Guest Speaker: Dianne Carter - Motivation

• Wednesday October 23rd - Fish and Chips by the sea – WOODY POINT

• Wednesday November 13th - GUEST SPEAKER “Judge for yourself” (Queensland Advisory Sentencing group) Children’s Court.

• Wednesday December 4th - Christmas Party at Gaythorne RSL.

There are also special interest groups who organise their own activities.  Currently there is a walking group, a book club and a Sunday lunch group who meet at venues suggested by members. More details of these groups are outlined in the club Newsletter.
