JESUS  CHRIST  SUPERSTAR: 

THURSDAY 16TH JANUARY

Club members Gayle and Jim Macready will be attending the Capitol Theatre in Haymarket
to see Jesus Christ Superstar on Thursday 16th January  at 7pm.


Any Probus members and their friends are welcome to purchase their own tickets via 
Ticketmaster - a large variety of prices.  We could meet for a meal or a drink prior to the 
theatre - to be arranged closer to the date.

MELBOURNE  CUP  LUNCHEON

TUESDAY  NOVEMBER 5  at  12.30 

 

Join other club members and prospective members at the home of Gayle & Jim Macready,  19 Joseph Street, Lane Cove.

Please bring a plate of finger food to share, ie, sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheeses, fresh fruit etc. and your own wine and preferred drink and glass.

A fruit punch will be provided as well as serviettes, paper cups and paper plates.

Please bring $5 notes to purchase sweep tickets for yourself and maybe one for your cat and dog as well !!

Dress code:  Smart casual, hats optional.

COCKATOO  ISLAND  DAY  TRIP

20th NOVEMBER

 

Cockatoo Island is on our doorstep and many of us haven’t had the opportunity to 

join a group of friends to explore the island and find out about its interesting

history. We would love you to join us.

There is a ferry from Woolwich Wharf departing at  10.10am PROMPTLY - 

sometimes a couple of minutes early and there is only one trip per hour.

Meet at the Wharf no later than 10am and travel to Cockatoo Island in time to

join a guided tour of the Island Highlights starting at 10.30.  This is a walking

tour at a cost of $16 per person.  It does include walking up a slope -

but not a long distance.

 

After the 60 minute tour those of us interested will head to the Cockatoo 

Marina Cafe for a bite to eat before catching a ferry back to Woolwich.

Christmas  Lunch

Hunters Hill Hotel on The Deck 

It is always enjoyable to share the build up to Christmas with family and friends.  Members of Longueville Probus and their friends are invited to join us to celebrate Christmas at The Hunters Hill Hotel.  

[HHH has Underground parking with lift access to The Deck on the upper floor.]

 

The cost is $60 per person.  Cash payments can be made at the 2 October or 6 November meetings or by direct bank transfer (details below).

Payment and numbers need to be finalised by 27 November.

Please mark your name on the Activity Sheet and also record your food selection on the pink sheets which you’ll find at our General Meetings.

The Hotel has a bar available to purchase your own drinks.
