A large group of our members play cards, some of them twice a month. Various groups are organized to play for three hours in the afternoon or evening followed by a light afternoon tea or supper. Every second Friday of the month, a group meets at 9.30 am for coffee at Bon Bons Cafe in the Southlands Shopping Centre.
This may be followed by a movie, lunch or shopping, depending on the inclination of the attendees on the day.
WALKING GROUP - Coordinator - Helen Birkbeck
The walking group meets Saturday mornings at a time and location advised in advance.
Non walkers are also most welcome to join the group after the walk for the morning breakfast activity.
Everyone is welcome and you can walk as far or as short a distance as you like, it is just nice to get out in the open air and breathe in the day.
